In Linde’s class you’ll explore different dynamics through theme’s like a broken poppet, the wind and ecstatic dancing in an environment that is constantly shaped by music. Musicality is an important component of both the improvisation part of the class as well as choreography where the class leads up to. You will find continuity in movement and in the journey that you will experience the moment you step into the class. You will stumble upon elements of Floorwork and inspirations of different Contemporary choreographers.
During Linde’s last year of studying at the Dance in Education Department of the Amsterdam University of the Arts she developed her own class concept which found the working title ‘Linde les’. Inspired by works of multiple Contemporary choreographers, such as Hofesh Shechter, Damien Jalet and Anne Suurendonk, she researched through teaching and creating. While she’s still aspiring to become a performing artist, she has found great passion by sharing her own movement language.
